Profile

IMT Lucca invites applications for a Visiting Professor in Neural representation, naturalistic stimulation and functional topographies. Candidates should have an outstanding research profile, extensive international academic experience, as well as experience in international institutions, and have a significant profile in the field of cognitive neuroscience with a particular interest in the neurobiology of cognitive control and reward and their relationship to various aspects of psychopathology, neuroimaging methodologies for assessing brain function, structure, and connectivity, machine learning techniques for identifying multimodal predictors of future behavior in longitudinal studies of neurodevelopment and techniques for developing brain-based classifiers from multisite data.

Activity

The position involves qualified research activities in the topics of the neurobiology of cognitive control and reward with the CCSN PhD Students and MOMILAB fellows; the visiting professor could also be involved in teaching activities, such as masterclasses, seminars, etc.

Formal requirements

A PhD;
The candidate must be an University professor in related topics of Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, or similar;
Excellent knowledge of both spoken and written English is required.

Specific requirements

The candidate must have a curriculum with a suitable scientific background for carrying out research and teaching activities in neuroscience of cognitive control and reward, advanced neuroimaging approaches;
The candidate must also have an excellent record of high-impact publications.
