Activity
The project focuses on the study of models and algorithms for the design of social collaboration systems. In the late years, online social services such as crowdsourcing sites have started emerging, yet they still provide only very basic functionalities. Performing higher level collaborating projects collaboratively both online and offline requires the proper organization: a mechanism that will be able to capture the requirements of the task at hand, the capabilities of the people, their potential for collaboration, and organize the human (and machine) capital towards the achievements of particular goals.
Formal requirements
PhD in Computer Science.
Specific requirements
The candidate should exhibit Experience in the Analysis of the relations between media and policy at the national and international level

CRISIS LAB - Crisis Lab is a strategic research project financed by Italian Government (Progetti di Interesse CNR) with the aim of creating an Observatory of crises and risks in domains ranging from finance, energy, markets, transport and urban systems, with interdisciplinary methodology based on the new science of Complex Networks
