I am Associate Professor of Economics and member of the AXES research group (Laboratory for the Analysis of compleX Economic Systems).
I have received my PhD in Economics and Management at the University of Trento in 2011.
After more than a decade as an academic in institutions around the world, I joined IMT in 2022.
My research focuses on the development of strategic thinking, how to improve performance, how people perceive the impact of their actions on others, and how the interaction between humans and machines affect the way people think and perceive reality. For my research, I use experimental methods, including lab-based, remote, and field data collection within different sectors (health, school, industry), and with different segments of population (from pre-school children to adults). My research includes methods to investigate physiological responses, which allow to study reactions to stress, danger, and both physical and mental pressure.
