Profile

The selected candidate will contribute to research activities in the areas indicated in this call for applications. In particular, the background and fields of research interest, in the intertwining of Archaeology and the study of cultural heritage are the following ones (although not limited to these): Methodology of archaeological research; Management and organization of archaeological heritage; Study of the monumental archaeological heritage; Issues in Classical Archaeology.

Activity

The selected candidate will collaborate with the lecturers, researchers, and students of the IMT School and, in particular, of the LYNX Research Unit on the topics indicated in the present call, mainly but not limited to the following aspects: the organisation and implementation of research seminars; the supervision of Ph.D. students (in particular in the Analysis and Management of Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies Ph.D. programs); the development of joint research projects.

Formal requirements

Ph.D. degree or equivalent in research areas related to the profile of this call obtained in Italy or abroad;
Scientific curriculum suitable for carrying out the research activity;
Experience in university teaching and supervising students, in Italy or abroad;
Documented training and research activities at qualified Italian or foreign institutions;
Experience in organizing, directing, and coordinating national and international research groups or participation in those;
Implementation of project activities;
Speaker at national and international congresses and conferences;
Excellent record of national and international scientific publications on the topics covered by this Call;
Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English.
